The strength of our community is derived from the people who live, work and play here. Managing the Town and building a strong future depends on having committed, thoughtful, community members who give their time to make sure our Town moves forward!
APPLICATION PROCESS:
Each winter, the Selectboard solicits applications for residents to serve on our various committees. Terms of appointment can last from 1 to 2 years, with reappointment possible. Terms start in March of each year. The only exception to this is the Board of Civil Authority, which is elected by the voting public at each General Election in Novembers of even years.
