Neighborhood Projects
The Public Works Department is currently working on plans to update stormwater collection and treatment systems in the following neighborhoods:
                  • Tanglewood Dr.
                  • Clyde Allen Dr.
                  • Gricebrook
                  • the SASH
                  • Maquam Shore Rd.

Roadside Ditching
This past fall the public works department evaluated roadside ditches and performed clean-up maintenance on them to ensure proper flow of stormwater to remove it from residents property.

Town Hall Rain Garden
A Rain Garden was constructed on the corner of Lake Road and Cherry Street to capture the stormwater runoff from part of Cherry. St, half of the Town Hall roof and half of St. Albans Bay Methodist Church roof. Th rain garden was constructed in a low spot which already experienced extensive puddling. It was designed to capture over 500 lbs of sediment annually in addition to 0.5 lb of phosphorous- preventing both from reaching Lake Champlain.
